Re: D&D Interlude: The Vault of the Lady Fortune
Sure, although now I feel a bit bad that we had a session without Bird when he was available two days later.

Re: Weight Loss and Health Thread!
I really don't eat a lot of meat these days. My treat day meal usually has meat in it, and I have maybe the equivalent of two rashers of bacon a week spread through the egg mayo sandwich filler I have for lunch, but I think that's it. Huel is vegan. Personally I think that's a healthy way to do thin...

Re: Weight Loss and Health Thread!
Difficult to maintain in terms of willpower or energy level? The former, I think I'll be fine, but we'll see how it goes over an extended period. I've not noticed any significant problems with the latter. To be honest I've deliberately aimed low, which will allow me to adjust upward if needed. Adjus...

Re: D&D Interlude: The Vault of the Lady Fortune
Would it be possible to have the session in the afternoon rather than the evening on saturday? I'm in either way, I just have a bit of a routine on a saturday, but it can be rearranged.

Re: Weight Loss and Health Thread!
I'm 35, 6ft tall, and my ideal weight is 75-80kg. As of this morning I'm exactly 100kg, having lost 3.4kg since 8th November. I'm going by a weekly average weight rather than on individual days, as the last time I tried to lose weight my depression lead me to having a very negative reaction when it ...

Re: D&D Interlude: The Vault of the Lady Fortune
I like the narration. I was never very good at roleplaying Charr in combat, but I feel like I've got more options with Arctiss, and I don't want encounters to just be us rolling dice.

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
My intake is now significantly below my daily BMR based on an average of the wildly varying calculators I found to tell me what that is (there's about a 400 calorie difference between the highest and lowest). I've been eating Huel 5 or 6 nights a week for the best part of two years now which is very...

Re: The Covid-19 Thread
Nah, I'm with Wrath on this one. Maybe that was fine in the early days of the pandemic, but ever since the Barnard Castle Road Trip incident, Starmer should have been bloody crucifying them. My gut tells me he's trying to avoid drawing the same level of ire from the media as happened with Corbyn to ...

Re: Halo Infinite- Out December 8
Oh, and really complex bloody controls. And this from someone who loves RDR2... As someone who found that the control scheme absolutely ruined my enjoyment of RDR2, I don't recall having any difficulty at all with BotW. Did you play it with the tilt-aiming? It was just about the most intuitive and ...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020
When I say such a feature is "expected", I don't mean "necessary". It just feels common in games that offer you multiple hair styles at character creation, so I don't think it's unfair to assume such a big budget entry in this genre to have it. You can change your clothes so there is customisation. ...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020
I can't see my character so why does it really matter? It's an RPG, and you *know* it's there. Making your character look cool is a not insignificant part of the role-playing experience for me. Character design in general is a huge draw in a lot of visual fiction. If it's not important to you then ...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
So a couple of weeks ago I started a fairly significant diet and exercise plan. I put on a fair bit of weight when I moved into a work-from-home job, and I've now managed to ditch most of it, but want it to continue as I've always been unhappy with my weight. But then my Galaxy Watch that I use to t...

Re: Halo Infinite- Out December 8
Breath of the Wild is I think the only game where I've found an open world truly compelling. It's absolutely packed with fun, unique activities, with only the bare minimum of signposting.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020
I really ought to go and play it too. I had to put it down just after launch because I was having PC issues at the time, and when I got the PC fixed I decided to leave it for a while until the issues got fixed... and then I forgot about it. I don't think the watch is hideous - silly perhaps, but can...
