Re: Halloween costume ideas

I had a plan as far back as last year to get together a Moritz Stamm set-up a la Deutschland 83. Essentially just Bundeswehr milsurp, only matching the part of a signals Leutnant, with a loud t-shirt underneath. My ex-girlfriend is currently not talking to me, however, and so I have no Halloween par...

Y'all need to play Verdun, if not already.

Yep, the bolts are just there to help see where the anomalies are.

The book the game is based on, Roadside Picnic, is well worth a read as well incidentally.
I've had that on my birthday/Christmas lists* for a bit, aye.

*My mum insists on them so she doesn't have to guess, shut up.

I could spam this thread all night most nights, but I've tried not to.

However, it seems silly to not post anything, so let's break the seal with:

https://youtu.be/2P4Tv2EIUDQ Funny, but I would love to see more duelling to settle points of honour amonst politicians. First up, Arnie vs Ol' Bone Spurs  The head of a near-as-dammit personal army of the Russian presidency cutting a promo on an opposition leader. Brilliant. https://www.youtu...

Re: Currently Playing

I'm lovin' this so far, slight clunkiness aside. Had a real pulse-raiser in the "second" building area outside of the start (not the one you clear of bandits, the one on the left side of the road - I was there to find a stash). It was evening, and dark. Really dark - my torch was aiding fine detail ...

Aye, that and Zone Reclamation Project looked like the best bet. However, how the hell do you install mods on a Steam game?? I have no idea where the gamefiles are anymore...

Re: Currently Playing

Just finished my CK2 run, without reaching my objective. Oh well. Now onto S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl - which I've never played before, due to not having a good enough PC at the time it came out. Does anyone know (with experience) of some good mods that plaster any gameplay cracks and maybe u...

Re: The Big Steam Bargains Thread

Paradox Publisher Weekend is on, as Gibby reminded me today. Another good time to swoop in on any of their titles you don't feel great dumping a large initial outlay into, or maybe you have one already and just want to pickup a new DLC. Cities: Skylines is about six quid, and it's a good vanilla gam...
