Re: Loss less v 320Kbps v 128Kbps. Take the test
I think arqueturus you are in the minority which is great. If you can afford it and its important to you, why not. The Gizmodo article was interesting. Streaming over Bluetooth really downgrades the quality because the data gets compressed. I listen to music 2 ways - on my phone to my wireless heads...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Rebel Without a Cause Also excellent, if a little dated in places now. James Dean’s performance is on point and I found the action truly tense, so I can only imagine what an impact it had in the 1950s. The 4k transfer is spoiled a bit by blurry scene transitions, which I’ve never encountered before...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
GOT: House of the Dragon
Season 1
9/10 - excellent, back to form. The series took inspiration from real events such as medieval English monarchy civil wars and the court of Julius Ceasar and Livia.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
The Creator 6/10 Visually spectacular. Tonally, a mess. The last 30 minutes had studio scissors all over the place. I suspect a directors cut would make for a better viewing. The problem I had with this film is that half the world building is simply amazing from suicide AI bombs to downloading some...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Babylon Stopped it after 50 minutes. Pointless and shite. Talking of shit. The opening scene of this film is of an elephant at the back of a truck shitting all over a poor worker. This is a perfect metaphor for the movie, with the film shitting over the audience who have carry it. Dear God, this ru...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Taking advantage of cinema day when prices are £3, I decided to see Barbie with the Mrs. I wanted to see it out of curiosity, why this film surpassed $1B in ticket sales. It is an awful, awful film. The worst film I have seen this year and in the decade. There were so many mixed messages about patri...

Re: General Gaming News
not news, but I am currently on holiday in Rhodes. Took a boat trip around a portion of the island and during it slapped on my headphones and listened to Just Cause 3 music. It was FUCKING FANTASTIC. The setting was spot on. It was like being in Medici and when I saw the boat-parachute rides, Rico R...
