Re: Indie Game News/Releases

Hatred

Everything about this game is wrong and amoral but bloody hell it is a lot of fun. The mass murder of civilians and human shields (soldiers) is abhorent and the executions to get health to 100% is disgusting. I am playing this again :D

Browsers

I am finding (with old age) I no longer care about brand loyalty anymore when it comes to tech. I just want efficiency or best value for money. So when it comes to browsers, I no longer care about using the same one for ages. Having used Opera for over a decade I began to pissed with its inability t...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Love Death + Robots (Netflix) 9/10 A very good anthology. Some of them were real hits for me like Sonnie's Edge, Sucker Of Souls, When The Yogurt Took Over, Helping Hand, Fish Night, Lucky 13, Ice Age and Secret War. The rest were good. I think the only 3 I didn't like were Shape Shifters, Zima Blu...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54635810 Edinburgh Woollen Mill, which owns Jaegar and Austin Reed has filed notice to appoint administrators, putting 21,000 jobs at risk. Debenhams, which said in August it would cut thousands of jobs, is up for sale and trying to find a new owner. The DW Sports...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Space Force (Netflix) 6/10 Its OK. It started really well with the first episode being very strong. It got steadily weaker as the series went on as the concept began to run out of steam. To its credit I think it got China pretty spot on. Some giggles. Not worth revisiting. John Malkovich is the bes...

7500 (Amazon Prime)

I really enjoyed it. A pretty decent edge on your seat thriller. It does have some plot issues but what film doesn't

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Ida This is a beautiful, compelling film of a Polish nun in the 1960s who discovers her roots are Jewish and her parents were murdered by the Nazis. She goes off on a road journey of discovery with her alcoholic but brilliant aunt. Shot in black and white in 4:3 ratio, it is a lovely film with an e...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

3 Women (1977) Being a fan of Shelley Duvall, I found this film to be really compelling. A story that is wholly original, complex and masterful in its narrative. At the end of the film you realise you have seen the story of one woman but told from 3 different perspectives. It is all about growing u...

Re: Playstation & Sony News/Discussion

In the last several days I changed the set up in my study. I now have the PS4 connected to my monitor. I hardly use my PS4 so it was an opportunity to play more PS4 games. At the same time my internet speeds crashed and were all over the place. One minute it was 30mbps than it was 1mbps. After 3 day...
