Re: Currently Playing
Finished Persona 4 a wee while back. It might be the first JRPG Ive ever finished. Its great... except for the jrpg grindy bits that are annoying. If every JRPG was a VN they would all be better games for it. So Ive now been hammering Persona 5 Royal and my feelings are kind of mixed. So we have Ann...

Batter in then :) First book is real short to get a taste for it and the 4th (Wizard and Glass) is probably my fav of all his books. Couple of weeks ago I was in my local charity bookshop as someone brought in a bag full of King. Since the place was just shutting I bought all 25 rather than raking t...

Re: Currently Reading
It’s a good ole romp. There are some prerequisites before you start though. Minimum you should probably have read The Stand and Salems Lot before hand. There’s references all over the place but I think those are the major minimums. I mean you don’t have to, you’ll grasp what’s happening but as it pu...

Re: Currently Reading
Anyway , I was wondering if there were other more recent King books people have enjoyed and would recommend - by recent I'd say anything since 2000 or thereabouts really? I did just buy a few more as I was in the mood for more: The Institute, Mr Mercedes and one of his more recent short story colle...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Lets see... The Thin Man 1-6 Delightful films! Absolutely adore William Powell and Myrna Loy, they play off each other wonderfully in all their many movies together. Longlegs Nick Cage goes full Nick Cage in a pretty good supernatural serial killer thing that goes a tad too bad cheese for the third ...

It's a good fun free CoD clone. As someone who enjoys the CoD style from time to time but not enough to buy CoD its ideal. It's not on Steam though which is so bloody stupid and is surely one of the reasons for it underperforming.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
The Changeling 2023 So far this is excellent! The first episode has more story crammed into it than most 3 hour movies. We're about half way and its still holding up. It has a great look, great mixture of horror with supernatural and fantasy sprinklings. It is however stuck on AppleTV but if you ha...

Half 101, half 102. 101 So, old man time. I have been becoming more and more disillusioned with the way music exists today. It feels disposable. Albums are becoming more like containers for a years songs than an album to the point a lot of bands just seem to piss out random songs which eventually co...

Re: Playstation & Sony News/Discussion
Price is whatever. If it’s powerful enough it could be justifiable. They made it even uglier though, that’s the worst sin of all. PS5 was so ugly it made me go 100% PC and this is even worse!
