Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I assumed they were mostly CGI with static models people could get in and out off, that's pretty cool.

Another excellent show previously mentioned, Shogun is coming to the end of its run next week. Top quality throughout and again just not enough episodes. I assume there will be a 2nd season.

It would be nice for one of these remake projects to actually produce a film that was superior to the original. I'm really struggling trying to think of a single one that worked.
The only ones I can think of are 80's horror like The Thing and The Fly.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I can still remember most of the names of the people from BoB and what they looked like and that came out in 2001. It helped that I've watched it a few times and many of the actors went on to be very well known faces on TV afterwards. Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender and Simon Pegg had small parts and ...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Just watched episode 1 of Fallout . I... I think they've done it justice. :o Finished it last night and can happily say it's great. Pretty much everything from the games makes some sort of an appearance, top marks to whoever did the set design and production. Story and acting are also excellent, it...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Biggles Adventures in Time Had fond memories of this as a child, remember all the hype around it on release. Fond memories are best left in the past, it was pish. Someone took a beloved story of a WW1 fighter pilot and shoehorned a half assed time travel plot in. Apparently the filming started befo...

Re: General Gaming News

Well that's good, they announced the update about 2 years ago I think. Unfortunately the space for mods on the console probably won't be getting an increase.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

That's good to hear, I was cautiously hopeful after seeing the trailers.

Would a Skyrim adaptation be out of the question, get compared too much to GoT's? Something like Dishonored might make a better tv show.

Now I'm imagining The Joker being completely exasperated and left speechless by Alan Partridge
