Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c78mj2m85pno If you're in a government that has pissed off everybody except for their most deluded fanatics, how do you think firing half of a three-letter intelligence agency is going to play out? Do you think perhaps they may have the knowledge, the connections...

They could have gone with The Korean War but I suppose the tech is still too close to WW2.Lenny Solidus wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 7:12 pm

Re: Battlefield 6
Overall that was great, a beta that was more polished and stable than many full release games. I had very few, if any technical issues, it just needs some balancing (that fucking shotgun!). Managed to make it to rank 17 and was happy with that. Towards to end of the beta I was in a match where an en...

I still buy CD's from time to time. I keep an old laptop that has a drive that I use to rip them but its very much on its last legs now.

Re: Battlefield 6
The second beta started yesterday. Didn't have to queue and was straight into a game. They added a New York map which is good but it does feel like something you'd see in COD. The shotgun is still insanely OP and is a favourite of doorway campers. Fun was had all the same and its great when you get ...

25° where I am, its just about bearable. I just stay out of the sun as much as possible during the day.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
I've only seen the first episode, but I already feel comfortable recommending The Eternaut on Netflix. It's an Argentinian adaptation of a 1950s graphic novel about people surviving an alien invasion, which is kicked off with a deadly event that kills anyone caught outside when it hits. I've read t...

Re: Battlefield 6
Really enjoyed it as well, although I didn't get to play it that much. It's definitely a return to form and it's great to see people excited about BF again. I was getting my ass beat until I turned off cross-play and got matched with other console players, then fun was had. There was a few gripes su...

Re: Battlefield 6
Played a bit of the open beta and really enjoyed it. There is very much a feel of BF3 and BF4 with the gameplay. It's so great to see my beloved Battlefield make a comeback after the very mediocre 2042. Graphics are very detailed and the level of destruction is amazing. I had a few niggles with the ...
