Re: The Room 102 thread - for things you love or just having a bloody good praise!

I thought this is good enough for me to buy the album.... only to find out there was no album. Just a string of 4 or 5 songs. Err, what? They've got six albums ? I've only listened to the latest one, but I knew they had at least one! Oh yeah, meant to say it was the 4 or 5 songs from their Tekkno a...

Re: The Room 102 thread - for things you love or just having a bloody good praise!

I hadn't thought about this until a year or so ago. I found electric callboy and enjoyed a few of their songs - thanks to youtube. I thought this is good enough for me to buy the album.... only to find out there was no album. Just a string of 4 or 5 songs. They only released the album containing the...

Starcom: Unknown Space https://store.steampowered.com/app/1750770/Starcom_Unknown_Space/ A top down space faring explore-em up. Typical indie dev type game. Imagine Space Pirates and Zombies. Big research tech tree. Build your own ships. Large universe to travel and explore. Slightly basic but colo...

Re: Server Renewal and Fate of the Forum

I've never met you lot in real life and had this weird vibe off a new friend from bloodstock. Saying he was in IT (same as me) and I thought "wow, what if this guy turned out to be a PW/gamers arm dude".
He wasn't but it did give me pause :)

Just started watching that video... how can anybody with that many subscribers get away with 720p max? I thought my internet had gone down or something :)

Re: \m/ Metal \m/

Just back from Bloodstock, knackered.

Saw Opeth on the main stage...not my scene. Too clever and technical :) Probably OK to listen to at home but I want to go hard at a festival.

Yup, agree with all the above.
Happy to contribute too.

We need a thumbs up emoji for posts :) (if that helps with moving to a provider that allows that )

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

That's cool, I've literally just bought a new car (new to me it's still a 10 year old car) that has a reversing camera. How high tech is that. Oh and it has one of them handbrake buttons. oh and I'll probably find that stop/start thing to turn that off too. I have rescued my aftermarket camera thoug...

Love it. I wish there was more time in the day to watch several films and still get things done :)

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Sorry, nearly everything about The Boys season 4 is just crap. The good guys are idiots. Is every 'plan' they make that dumb, that they use Hughie every time? And they're shocked when every bad guy is there but yet they don't get caught. The supes are powerless and also stupid. The shocks are not sh...

Monkey Man What a fun film. 'An orphan seeks revenge' doesn't quite cut it :) Definite John Wick vibes (it's even mentioned in the film). Some english language and some indian -> english subtitles. Oh and it has Sharlto from District 9 in it. Say no more :) Trailer: https://youtu.be/g8zxiB5Qhsc?si=...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Eric Ben Cummerbund's kid goes missing. He is a puppeteer from a kids TV show and falling into a drink and drug hole he becomes convinced that a 7 foot monster puppet called Eric will save his son. Its alright so far though it feels like it may be teetering on the point of turning shit. Whilst it d...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare It was so 'Guy Ritchie like' that, as I was watching this, I thought, they've stolen a Guy Ritchie vibe on this. Only to see 'directed by Guy Ritchie' at the end :) Story was very straight forward no double crosses, easy to see goodies and baddies. Fun - so muc...
