I’ll return to my hiding spot in the shelter in the corral and take aim at the main building doors with my revolver, waiting for anyone to come out.

CK sees it as a shame, but having canonical "unearthly hunger", my main focus is on how much of four roasted mules I could eat.

I'll jam it with the rifle - seems the least risky option.

I'll unload it first, so it doesn't start blasting off from the fire!

Could I use the repeater rifle to jam the door? I've still got my revolver for some enthusiastic blasting.

I’d like to think the screams and honks of burning clowns might attract some attention, but if not then I’m sure we can rectify that somehow.

I'll position myself in the shelter in the corral (hopefully making it harder to see me) and aim at the doors to the main building with the repeater rifle.

I think it might be a repeater rifle, rather than a hunting rifle, actually, so you may as well keep the ammo loaded, ready for use!

In that case, unless anybody else wants to claim it, I'll load it and keep it for myself.

I think I best scarper back over the fence before things get hairy. I'll take the rifle in case it comes in handy, but I'll give the ammo to Cumflutter. I'll also take the fountain pen, for the unlikely event that a "pen is mightier than the sword" opportunity arises.
