Disgusted (but not surprised) that Farage had the gall to ask Starmer at PMQs if he would declare Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organisation because it would please Trump. What an odious bell end.
At least Starmer mocked him by expressing his surprise that Farage was in the UK for once.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Watched quite a lot recently: Don't Worry Darling Reasonable psychological thriller about a seemingly idyllic 1950s gated community of nuclear families, but something is clearly amiss. Sadly I guessed what was going on in the first four minutes, but it's decent enough, and it turns out Harry Styles ...

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Given the speed with which critically important staff departed Twitter when Musk took over and started imposing stupid rules, I expect they'll successfully downsize in no time. Except they'll be left without the key people who actually get things done and know how things work. It'll be similar to wh...

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
You quite easily find books describing the willow’s association with healing, being of particular interest to druidic circles as a natural remedy. But you can’t shake the feeling that the tree’s significance is more personal - something symbolic intended for you. Your dreams during your frequent cat...

Re: Dragon Age 4: The Veilguard - out October 31st
It really is technically very impressive and at 40 hours in I’ve not encountered a single bug. The art style has grown on me over time and the game looks stunning. I need to emphasise that I’m really enjoying it and I think it’s a very good game - the only shame is that I can see how much better it ...

Even more are now understanding that the customers pay the tariffs eventually, not the exporters But... but Trump said Mexico would pay the 25% tariffs, so it must be true! :o I mean he made them pay for the wall last time, right? The wall that he definitely finished and has solved the problem with...

Re: Dragon Age 4: The Veilguard - out October 31st
Think I'm past the halfway point now and the story is properly ramping up. It has a feel of Mass Effect 3 about it in the sense of defying impossible odds, and some of Veilguard's setpieces leave ME3's reaper battles in the dust. Everything I've previously said still holds, but after a shaky start I...

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
You narrow down various possible locations based on taxonomy of trees and creatures, areas with known human expeditions and old tales of the tabaxi, until finally, with logical certainty, you determine there is only one possible place it could be: the island of Chekret Jatarr, off the southern shore...

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
Opus will pull out his coin pouch before slowly and painstakingly counting out all 766 gold coins. Most of them lack teeth marks. He'll look up expectantly of Jontu before presumably being given a withering glance and a slightly snide remark. At this point he'll fall back on something he's far more...

I rolled a 3 and a 19, so with advantage that's 22 altogether! You look up as a ray of sunlight manages to penetrate the overcast sky, and then you feel the heat of a blazing fire nearby. You turn around to see avatar of Heleth stood before you, adorned in golden plate armour. Her voice reverberate...

Right, downtime activities ahoy! Each player has their own section with a roll or response required - I've put them in spoiler tags just for space reasons, so feel free to read them all if you want. Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
anniversary cards Christ, this is a pet peeve of mine. The celebration of an anniversary should be between the two people that the anniversary pertains to, and nobody else. My sister buys my parents anniversary cards for reasons unknown. I've made my feelings on the subject abundantly, conspicuousl...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
100% agree. I only buy cards for immediate family, and only because it’s easier than trying to explain to my mum why she’s the only one who places any value in them. I bought a birthday card for my sister last week and ended up getting a Star Wars card (despite her having no interest in Star Wars) b...
