Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Found some time over the weekend for a couple of films. John Wick 3 Good fun, but it's starting to get a little thin now. Not as good as the first or second films and I expect the 4th will be thinner again. Hellboy 2019 I like the way it tells its own story of the original movie premise. The cast is...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
In other news, Dracula on the Beeb is rather good... Only seen the first episode, but I find the guy playing Dracula immensely irritating. Everything else is pretty good (the guy playing Harker was great), but he just grates on me for some reason. You was one of my favourite shows I saw last year. ...

Re: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga
Force Awakens still the best in the new trilogy by a long way. And I'm going to court controversy here and say that the prequel trilogy was better overall than the new one. Agreed, I'd go release order for best to worst for the new trilogy, but I'm gonna have to disagree on the prequels being bette...

Re: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga
...Why? Disliking a film I can understand, but spending half the length of the film itself watching a group of guys sarcastically ripping it to pieces? I don’t get it. Validation I guess. I'll wait for the cinema sins video, at least that is tongue in cheek and will just be the entire film unedited...

Re: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga
Saw it last night and having slept on it, that is the single worst thing to happen to the Star Wars franchise since Jarjar Bink's (And I enjoyed the last two well enough for what that's worth). Horribly writing, mostly nonsensical and utterly shit. Which is a shame, because there is a nugget of a su...

While I do have 12 more Tyranid gribblies to paint, I need a palette cleanser.
These lads should do.

Re: The Hobbies and Model-Making Thread
Space Wolves are not to be meddled with! 8-) I'd sooner be a shadowy edge lord than a furry  My primary opponent back in the day was SWolves, so I have issues with them. I will always have a gaming memory of my Dread's lascannons removing both of Bjorn's arms. Then watching Bjorn headbutt my d...

Re: The Hobbies and Model-Making Thread
As a 40K 2nd ed Dark Angel I find your colour choices boring and sad ;) As a hobbyist, that is some really nice work. I've got some 2nd ed metal CSM termies begging to be stripped and re-painted which is on my list of things to do now I've got my custom paint job figured out :) The bases are gonna b...

Re: The Hobbies and Model-Making Thread
And said brushes let me finish off another 6 little bastards, growing my swarm to 17 gribblies
Spoiler
11 more little gribblies to paint, but that is well playable as a team, and it's time for a break from Xenos and a bit of heresy
