Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Last night, randomly browsing Netflix looking for a decent film, ending up on The Life of Chuck , and really enjoyed it! Not entirely sure why I'd never heard of it before, written by Stephen King and directed by Mike Flanagan, which would usually put it immediately on my radar. Didn't really know w...

Ah... I guess I'd naively assumed it was part of the national curriculum (it should be!) and would be similarly taught across the board. Oops

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
I’m worried about the total lack of practical online safety taught to children by both parents and schools I'd like to respond just to this part to say that my kids' schools have definitely taught lessons around online safety - don't share personal details online, don't post pictures of yourselves ...

Re: General Gaming News
Isn't every game he makes "his last game" until he announces another one a few years later? Pretty much lost any residual respect for Molyneux when I found out how badly the guy who won his 'click on the block, the prize will change your life forever' stunt (can't in good conscience call it a game)...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
I can't lie, I love TOS, I love the cheesy storylines, dad jokes, scene-chewing overacting, laughable costumes and special effects and everything else that comes with it.
It's just pure fun.

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
I left it at £130 a month and emailed them, explaining the situation and asking for it to be manually reviewed and set as I would like, including the refund. Instead, I got an automated response telling me my DD has been set to £162 (no mention of a refund). What the actual fuck? "We have a...

Re: Currently Playing
For me, Obsidian has the same issue as modern-day Bioware, trading on a name they no longer qualify for, as all the talent that earned them their reputation has left. It's a bit sad, I just have no inclination to play any of the games they're putting out, it all just looks so mid. I've even download...

Just fucking stupid. Already was massively outpriced on being able to upgrade my brave little 3060ti anytime soon, and now looks like that conceivably may never happen.

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
I just don't want to give my business to a company that plans to go in that direction, and I object to things like that being opt-out rather than opt-in. Fuck em.
