Re: Daily forum quiz thread
I must confess, after being put out of the running by several days of zero connectivity in Devon, I took great delight in all the days I managed to sandwich myself between a win for WB and last place for Sly, edging WB slightly ahead. I may not have said anything Wrath, but I was 100% your wingman ...

Re: Currently Reading
Anyway , I was wondering if there were other more recent King books people have enjoyed and would recommend - by recent I'd say anything since 2000 or thereabouts really? I did just buy a few more as I was in the mood for more: The Institute, Mr Mercedes and one of his more recent short story colle...

Yeah. I still maintain PCG's 94% review of DA2 was lolworthy, but it's telling that despite its flaws I've still played it to completion half a dozen times down the years. It keeps up the pace pretty well and at a breezy 30-40 hours doesn't outstay its welcome.

Not at all, as I was in the same boat, just couldn't catch up as for every good day I had, I tended to follow it with a bloody awful one!

Re: Dragon Age 4: The Veilguard - out October 31st
My Inquisition playthrough has slightly run out of steam lol. TBF I've played it this time for upwards of 50 hours I think, but the issues I've had with it in the past still persist - while the story content is good, there's just too much of everything else and the side content isn't good enough to ...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
Ludwig I normally avoid detective dramas like the plague, but I'll watch anything that stars David Mitchell and the setup for the show is quite fun: he plays a puzzle-maker who's completely withdrawn from the world, but ends up having to pretend to be his identical twin brother who is a detective a...

Re: Currently Reading
So this is less about what I'm currently reading and more a request for recommendations... I was recently recommended Revival by Stephen King and enjoyed it... despite being a fan of 'classic King' if you like, I fell out of the habit of reading his new stuff in the 90s after being disappointed by o...
