Re: General Gaming News
I expect the latter. Facing the media shit storm head on will get them enough press that I'm sure more people will fall for their next scam just by the sheer amount of extra traffic their page will be getting.

Re: Currently Playing
Ghost of Tsushima Bit of a coincidence that the sequel has been announced this week, but I've been playing through the first game over the last couple of weeks and really enjoying it. The combat really flows when you've unlocked a few skills and has yet to become monotonous, likewise with the explo...

Re: General Gaming News
I don't think a few months extra 'polish' is going to save them from releasing what I'm sure will ultimately be a very similar game to all of the other ones in the series. I think people are just generally burnt out on Ubisoft games. The formula is done to death now.

Drip feeding songs is the only way you can keep the modern audiences who all have the attention span of goldfish thanks to the none stop crap dopamine hits they get from scrolling through absolute inane rubbish on social media. This sort of thing smacks of "old man yells at cloud" to me. Everything...

Re: New Devy...
His more straightforward singles are never the high points of the album with his more recent releases.
This is alright though. Gives me quite strong Epicloud vibes.

Re: Server Renewal and Fate of the Forum
Much appreciated guys, thank you.
With the donations we've covered all but 15 quid of the fees for four years which I'm more than happy to cover the difference for.

Re: Civilization 7
6 is probably one of my favourite entries alongside 4, a combination of the two would have been perfect. They added a district system into 6 where you have to plan your city development as you place extra zones onto tiles around it so the city wasn't just stacked onto a single tile like all the prev...

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
Dharnon usually has two actions anyway thanks to haste and he's well natured enough that I think he would also try and spend an action to snap someone out of charm.

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
Pros and cons. Is it worth you sacrificing your action in order to prevent one of your teammates using their actions to potentially do something which may harm the party? Seems like a good trade off to me. Also requiring a full action to allow a save to break the charm when the rules as written don'...

Re: D&D Campaign 2: D&D Harder
Making it so a player character has to use the Help action to snap someone out of it makes sense. I can't imagine that one of us would easily be snapped out of a charm trance if a skeleton was shaking/slapping us or Fauxpus was nibbling our knees. It feels like it would require someone with more of ...
