We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care

I wonder if the delay is because of the outrage that sparked when people found out that the second and third games weren't even going to be on the disc and that you have to download them in a day one patch.
I personally never got on with the Spyro games as much as I loved the platformers that Naughty Dog put out in the PS1/PS2 eras.

I'm not interested as I never played the originals, and find that these nostalgic re-releases tend to be a bit dull if you don't have the nostalgia element. I've watched my partner playing the Crash Bandicoot remaster and thought that the game plays like crap by modern standards.
What I will say is that they're doing a really nice job on the visuals. Both of the Crash and Spyro collections look beautiful.

I'm definitely looking forward to this, played the Spyro games on PS1 when I was younger, and still replay them with friends sometimes. I never really understood the appeal of Crash though (with the exception of CTR, obv.)
This re-release was one of the things that encouraged me to get a PS4 >_<

A CTR remake would be amazing. I played that game to death when I was a kid.

I really like the fact that they didn't change any of the mechanics of Crash, so it's still stupidly difficult to time your jumps pixel perfect at times. But then I grew up on those kinds of masochistic platformers, so I don't consider it a problem that they haven't changed how it plays because I love torturous experiences.

A couple of reviews since this would appear to be out now...
