Of course, it would be remiss to not point out that the PM who intended to balance an Earl Grey tea bag on every doughnut before eventually settling on instead sprinkling the contents of the bag over the top was no less idiotic #-o

Once you've had a Doughnut Time doughnut though... everything else is but ashes and dust.

Sorry Strudel, I still don't get it. What can justify £4 (at the starting point) for a lump of fried dough.

The options on offer there don't appeal much either, way too much topping that all looks like nothing more than an OTT sugar rush (although the eating may say different).

When I was in the states, doughnuts were cheap, a good size, and damned tasty for the most part. The whole artisan movement with food does conjure up some beauties, but also a lot of overpriced duds - these ones just look made to make a fool part with his or her money :)

Well each to their own. I love the Doughnut Time doughnuts, and although they're not cheap they are huge and basically a meal (a meal of sugar and diabetes to be sure) in their own right.

And actually,m that site kind of backs up the (what I thought of) a stupid idea of putting a whole biscuit on top of a doughnut. Who knew :)

Given how well they're doing as a company it's clearly not a stupid idea though; plenty of people love it.

Oh don't get me wrong, if there is a market and they are doing well, all power to them. Just not for me :)

The fact that he couldn't even take part in the treat was pretty funny.

Bit of a dull episode really; it was pretty clear who was going when they went into the boardroom.

Nooo... Kurran lives to suck another day. He's not even an entertaining idiot, just boring.

Alex, the guy who got fired has a pretty unrealistic view of a good sales person. He didn't sell one gym equipment to the regular gym goers and still maintains he would have go the sales in the last hour. "I'll come back later" is classic English speak for no thanks. If they don't complete there then they usually have no intention of coming back. He was deluded to think otherwise. A firing I agreed with but then I bet his business plan was actually a good well thought out one but we'll never know now. The 'winner' will have ahastily knocked together business idea they got after aquick google.

Jesus, Kurran gets away with a dismal performance again? Did he threaten to sue the production company for his broken arm if he got fired? I was certain Sugar was going to fire two this week. And so much unprofessionalism in front of potential customers; they'd have been strung up where I work for that.
