If it makes you feel any better, it's pissing down and cold in London.

Likewise in the Midlands.

I'm now faced with the dilemma of not having any food in the flat, but I can't be bothered to go out in the rain.

It's pleasantly mild and breezy here in Lancaster, with occasional rain (sadly no chilli con carne or sparkling champagne). I'd prefer freezing cold weather, but considering the godawful blazing heat we've endured this summer I'm revelling in being able to sleep comfortably again.
I think we've had it much better than elsewhere in the country, but then it's pretty much always milder here than in most places. Today though, it's 13 degrees and windy, meaning it feels quite chilly. My partner went away for the weekend and left a window open, and the house is cold. I could put the heating on, but, well, it's August.

This last week was absolutely beautiful here. Constant warm sunshine with a gentle breeze; absolutely perfect.

But today is pouring it down. :(

Three month long range forecast is predicting a warm autumn which should be nice.

True to form up here. Pishing down yesterday, glorious today. Magic!

It's the old 'Cold, Warm, Storm' pattern in action.

Yep; I know this is supposed to be the complaining thread, but today is amazing!

We can still complain. It's too hot. And bright. My eyes! :D

Where I work has no air-con, so it being too warm is a valid complaint. Except for on the weekends. Sun then, please!

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

I don't mind this type of heat, quite pleasant to stroll in, in fact.

Yeah, I think today is absolutely perfect. I guess I could complain about one thing -- I'm stuck inside at work instead of walking around in it. ¬_¬

My new garden shed BLEW OVER with my and my wife's bikes inside. The shed is damaged, the doors have detached, and the bikes are all tangled up on the ground. Who knows what kind of state they're in. I don't have time to sort them out as I'm busy at work.

Blasted wind.
