I'll take it from the trailer that you can either stealth a mission or just run in swinging.
I'd heard of the black samurai before but I'm pretty sure Ubi are taking massive liberties with the story. But as Snowy said I'm all for it if it gets a bunch of frothing troglodytes all hot and bothered.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
I think after I saw Jurassic World I was done with the franchise and it seems to have been a good call. Godzilla Minus One Now this is how you make a monster film. It's set in Japan just after the war and deals with the aftermath of that and the arrival of a giant radioactive lizard. The budget was ...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
Stargate SG-1 Started watching this several months ago and am now midway through season 5. It was cool to see the show evolve over the seasons and the effects getting more elaborate. It's often intentionally silly and pokes fun at itself like when they discover a really cheap tv show called Wormhol...

Re: General Film News
I'm sure they'll try and drag it out to at least 2 films. It's very hard to be enthusiastic about a story where you know none of the main characters are in any real peril.

Re: Currently Playing
It's a great game alright and Fatshark seem to keep it constantly updated. Lately they added that progress gives you ingame currency, which was also backdated from the time you started the character. It's a bastard hard game at times and more so when you're stuck with bellends who run about like hea...

Re: Aaand, In Other News...
Local "terrorists" now also have access to some near cutting edge military shit and a single missile hit or bomb blast into any part of the wall fucks the entire city. It would need a literal army to protect it.
It's like something from Judge Dredd or Warhammer 40K.

Re: General Gaming News
Which is a real shame. Prey and especially Dishonored 2 are some of my favourite games that game out in the past few years. Now that I think of it I probably got them on a sale pretty quickly after release.

Re: General Gaming News
Its just so damn irksome that Dishonoured and Prey get the shaft while Todd Howards pish gets boosted but then MS did turn down getting BG3 on GP for a pittance so theres no accounting for taste. It that because the anchor around Xbox's neck that is the Series S can't run it properly I wonder? It's...

I'd be amazed if everything other than some of the trains interior wasn't done with CGI.ManBearSquid wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 10:13 amGratuitous blatant CGI backgrounds often made it feel even more cartoonish to me.

I watched Return of the King a few weeks ago. That scene and his delivery is probably why the film won the Oscar.

Bullet Train Avoided this on release as I assumed it would be pish. It's very a enjoyable and silly action flick made by the people who did John Wick. A group of assassin's all end up on the same bullet train in Japan and cartoonish violence ensues. Some hilariously gory deaths and fight scenes. It...
